Dr. Nicole Trakas
DVM
Dr. Nicole Trakas grew up in Eunice, Louisiana and attended Louisiana State University of Veterinary Medicine where she received her veterinary degree.
She started practicing in the Tampa Bay area in 2002 and joined Trinity Oaks Pet Wellness Center in 2020. Dr. Trakas has one son and one daughter, and she currently has 3 dogs and 3 cats. She enjoys gardening, hiking, reading, and going to the beach in her free time.
Dr. Amelia Brindamour
DVM
Dr. Brindamour was raised in Quebec City, Canada. She graduated from the University of Montreal in 2001 with her doctorate in veterinary medicine. Shortly after graduating, she moved to Florida to start her career. She has been working in Pinellas and Pasco County since 2001.
She has an interest in dermatology, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery. One of her veterinary passions is helping pets with chronic diseases maintain a high quality of life. She is compassionate and an advocate for preventative care.
Dr. Brindamour is a proud parent of a son and a daughter. She also shares her home with a cat named Simba and a rescued dog named Hazel. In her spare time, Dr. Brindamour enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, exercising, traveling, and reading. Dr. Brindamour is also fluent in French.
Dr. Areti Papanikas
DVM
Dr. Papanikas was born and raised in New Port Richey, Florida, and is thrilled to serve the community that helped shape who she is today. A proud Double Gator, she earned both her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Sciences and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Florida. Her professional interests include endocrinology, soft tissue surgery, and dentistry. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys boating, traveling, watching movies, and spending time with family and friends. She shares her home with her fiancé, Arturo, and their two beloved fur children.
Dr. Sharonda Washington
DVM
A 2021 graduate of the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Washington began her veterinary career in Kentucky before returning home to Florida. For the past three years, she has worked as a relief veterinarian throughout the Tampa Bay area, gaining experience in a variety of practice settings while caring for a wide range of patients. Dr. Washington’s professional interests include dermatology, particularly the diagnosis and treatment of skin and ear disease, preventive medicine, client education, and soft tissue surgery. She is excited to become a permanent part of the Trinity Oaks Pet Wellness Center team and looks forward to building lasting relationships with clients, their pets, and the community. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Washington enjoys traveling, participating in her book club, caring for her ever-growing collection of plants, spending time with friends, and crafting. She is thrilled to put down roots at Trinity Oaks Pet Wellness Center and is excited to provide compassionate, personalized care while building lasting relationships with clients, patients, and the Trinity Oaks team.
